ADVERTISEMENT BRIEF

The Grindr advertisement, aimed towards breaking the stigma about LGBTQ love. It uses a few elements that allows the viewer to get a clear and precise meaning-the use of minimalist design approach towards the advertisement, not only makes the advertisement more aesthetic but also allows the fast moving population to get the clear meaning.
The slogan, ‘YOU’RE NOT ALONE.’ is used in a way that makes the LGBTQ community who feel vulnerable and are scared to come out, feel comforted and secure.
The slogan aims towards breaking the stigma of LGBTQ love. It aims towards creating a welcoming and warm platform for LGBTQ community looking for company.
The brand understands the customers’ feelings and provides a safe platform for them to discover, connect to and navigate the queer world around them.

The minimalist design using four flowers demonstrates the feeling of sensitivity, delicacy and freedom. It aims to show how in spite of difference in genders, they are all flowers, despite their differences. While promoting the application, Grindr uses an emotional appeal and also gives out a strong social message, that it’s okay, its normal and at the end of the day, love is love!

The manner for execution of this advertisement is by putting out print posters and giving out merchandises that uses the slogan, “YOU’RE NOT ALONE.” The use of this method of advertisement will allow the advertisement to be circulated at mass.
